The Terracotta Pot Company was formed primarily out of necessity. Having sold Cretan pots for many years on a retail basis, continuity of supply and quality of the products increasingly became an issue.

It was therefore decided we should visit the country of origin and hand pick a supplier of traditionally made high quality cretan pots and arrange imports ourselves, this ensures a greater stock-holding and a wider variety of products can now be offered.

As owners of the Terracotta pot Company, we've built up many years of experience in importing high quality products from around the world, so the experience gained in those areas assisted greatly with the new ‘Cretan’ adventure!

After travelling to Crete and personally visiting many of the family run potteries, a decision was finally made to form an exclusive trade partnership with arguably one of the best family business on Crete

After holding meetings to reach agreements on costings, availability, styles of pottery, etc., orders were placed and our warehouse now bulges with a wide variety of sizes and styles, to satisfy the most discerning of tastes! Each and every style of pot we supply, whether for use as a terracotta urn, terracotta pot or terracotta water feature, was hand-selected for its aesthetics, form and function.

All of the terracotta pots we supply embody the ancient techniques dating back 4,000 years and handed down through the ages, with each and every one being hand thrown in the time honoured fashion.
